Understanding the importance of seniors staying active and social as they age led me to obtain my Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida in Community Health, with a minor in Health Education. Over the past 20 years, I have had the opportunity to work closely with activity and program professionals in several settings. I developed an appreciation for the vital role they play in the well-being of the senior population—a population that is near and dear to my heart. Developing programs and community events that meet the health and wellness needs of seniors within the community has been very rewarding. Outside of work, you can find me at the closest craft store, baking in the kitchen, or on an adventure with my husband and two children. Life is good!
